This program aims to teach you lifelong skills. By the end of the course, you should feel confident in assessing and taking action on your mental health, nutritional plan and exercise program. You would be able to adapt everything to your specific life circumstances. We start with mental health since it's the root cause of the problem. The program is all evidence based. It was constructed based on almost 3000 research papers, 28 textbooks and expert opinions including psychologists, nutritionists and physical trainers. Everything was compiled by myself, a physician with American Board Certification in internal medicine & training in gastroenterology.
The first phase is only targeting mental health. In the second phase we will teach you how to build a nutritional program where you can tweak the intensity in a safe way. You'll effectively become your own nutritional advisor capable of devising yourself a safe, effective & sustainable weight loss plan.
Physical activity is the third phase of the program after we target all the behavioral issues that led to the weight gain first, then target your nutrition in the second phase before you can build your dream body!
It depends. Some people will lose a lot of weight after they deal with their emotional eating triggers. The main goal of the mental health program is to set a foundation to deal with emotional eating, cravings, and other factors, in a healthier and more rewarding way. These skills will be vital during the second phase when you embark on your nutritional program.
This program is for individuals suffering from obesity, or those who are overweight with persistent weight management issues, or those who are finding their weight loss journey too hard mentally.
This program is not for those looking for a quick fix solution. There are no pills, no surgeries & no fad diets here. This program is meant to teach you how to live a healthy and full life starting with your mental health. One of the outcomes will be that you will be able to take charge again of your weight loss and personalize your journey according to your circumstances, how intense you want it to be and most importantly, according to your mental health.
